Liberty times 準研究生溺水 救生員面前漂走 (Graduate Student Drowns -- floats off in front of lifeguard)
準研究生吳瑞偉昨天下午和同學一起到台北縣白沙灣海水浴場戲水，不慎漂離安全水域，現場救生人員緊急下水救人，但吳生已漂至數十公尺外，搜救人員進行海空搜索，吳生的家人也趕到，但至深夜尚未尋獲。
22歲的吳瑞偉就讀中原大學四年級，日前才剛順利考上多所研究所，昨天下午和10多名同學從學校到白沙灣玩，下午2時許，因當時正逢退潮，不太會游泳的吳生與另一名不知名男子，一起漂到浴場安全警戒線外。

救生員馳援 浪大來不及
現場救生員發現異狀後，先吹哨子警告，2人仍繼續向外漂，救生員趕緊跳下水，先救起距離較近的男子，另名救生員游向15公尺外的吳生時，因浪大，只能眼睜睜看著他越漂越遠。
北縣消防局及海巡單位據報，出動橡皮艇、巡艇及水上摩托車趕到現場搜尋，空中勤務總隊也支援直升機在上空搜尋，卻已經看不見他的蹤影。
吳生的爸爸、姊姊等家人聞訊都趕來，帶著吳生的衣服在沙灘上哭喊，要他快回來，吳生的10多名同學則在岸上哭成一團。
吳瑞偉的阿姨哭著說，吳瑞偉有心律不整的毛病，平時功課很好，最近才同時考上多所研究所，這幾天放假在家，昨天說要到學校，沒想到會和同學一起到海邊。
