dog days (also not my dog) ... salad days

Today feels like the hottest day of the year so far.

One positive thing to note is that Taiwanese farmers seem to be growing (or growing more) lettuce and other salad vegetables this year.

So instead of having to buy three large romaine lettuce for NT$180, or whatever Costco charged, you can buy one for around NT$40, and other similar vegetables for even less.

So it should be "salad days" all summer long.
