more blue-green shenanigans

Last week there were rumours (leaks) that Ma Ying-jiou (馬英九) would meet with DPP Chairperson Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文) ...

then he tried to get humorous by suggesting she come see him at the centenary celebrations for Chiang Ching-kuo (蔣經國) ...

who, of course, the DPP view as a dictator (premier and president) and flagrant abuser of human rights (head of secret police, premier and president) and anti-democratic figure (he "inherited" the presidency from his father) ...

so Ma gets egg on his face ...

while Tsai looks stateswomanly by proposing they meet for open debate of controversial national affairs ...

but then the DPP throws away its advantage by suggesting the meeting takes place on its own turf, at the State Affairs Forum organised by the DPP and the Taiwan Solidarity Union ...

... so don't hold your breath
