I have to confess that i haven't seen the original Associated Press article, but surely this is more (earlier see VftH here) poor understanding of English by Mr. Ma and his cronies:
Government attacks AP over WHA report
The news agency reported that ‘China approves island WHO role,’ but the government said the arrangement was a result of international support
Now when i went to school, those two are not mutually incompatible, the arrangement could have resulted from international support, which then received China's approval.
Is it possible that Ma's squad are getting a little paranoid ... or does it suggest China really was required to OK the deal?
